The FirstEnergy PA Lighting Instant Discount Program was paused on Monday June 16th, 2025 at the direction of FirstEnergy and due to incentive budget constraints. Any claims received after the pause will remain in a pending state until further notice and have no guarantee of receiving incentive funds. FirstEnergy is reviewing program budget considerations and will provide additional guidance as to the Program status once the review is complete.

Claims for the instant discounts program may continue to be submitted in the claim portal on a waitlist basis, but any claims submitted after June 16th may not be paid. Allocated funds for the instant discounts program are exhausted at this time, and it is unclear if there will be additional funding for this program.
